As frequent as the tides that come to shore, we are working towards a society in which acts of kindness, leave their mark on people’s lives with time. Our vision is to provide the society inside the Gaza Refugee Camp with the basic tools and skill sets that would allow them to sustain themselves and independently tend to their own needs, in a manner that would gradually turn them into a self-sufficient and sustainable community that no longer depends on others, but rather has the resources and abilities that allows it to stand on its own feet. The Gaza Refugee Camp is but a start for Basmitak Hatallim, in ten years or so we aspire to see the camp become a success story and a model for all communities on how to pull oneself up after being knocked down and forgotten for years. We hope to see the people of the camp take initiative and take charge of their own lives and fates, to witness the children there grow up and be of help to their families and community. We hope to give them the leg up they need to paint the life they want for themselves.
